Your role in a nutshell
You will play a key role in processing payroll in Argentina. Your ability to grasp country-specific payroll information and stay up-to-date on Argentine labour laws, tax codes, and regulations to ensure payroll calculations and reporting adhere to the latest requirements will be an integral part of the role. Handling headcounts and processing payroll while maintaining utmost confidentiality will be crucial to your success as a Payroll and Compliance Expert.
Core Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for processing payroll for our client’s employees in Argentina and achieving 100% accuracy promptly by banking on your in-depth knowledge of processing payroll in the country.
- Equipping yourself with country-specific payroll information is a must and it's essential to draw on your in-depth knowledge of the nation's local compliances and laws, tax system, and payroll processes.
- You will be required to support creating statutory reports. These will include crucial aspects of payroll such as tax deductions, Social Security, pension, garnishments, and other benefits.
- Must familiarize yourself with Neeyamo Payroll and regularly update any statutory changes in the laws and regulations in Argentina.
- Compliance is key, and ensuring that Neeyamo is compliant with the various laws across industries in Argentina will be one of your primary responsibilities.
- You must also provide audit support if required by the client.
- You must ensure accuracy and timeliness in all payroll deliverables.
- Payroll data is highly sensitive. so, you must ensure privacy and confidentiality of all payroll and employee data.
Experience and Skills
Past Experience:
- + 5 Years of experience in Payroll field.
- Experience in processing payrolls +1000 HC.
- Using shared services is a plus, In country partners.
- Have been participating in payroll implementations is a PLUS.
- Annual federal and deferred tax returns: SAT.
- Recorded risk reports IMSS, SAT.
Education and Certification Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting would be beneficial.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) Intermediate level.
- Payroll-related certifications are a huge plus
Other qualifiers:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills
